How far in advance should I book my session?

About a month out is preferred but if my schedule is open then we can figure it out. This is my full time job so weekdays and weekends are both available. If you are planning a newborn session then just let me know your due date and when you go into labor or deliver we schedule for the next available day. How do I pay for my session?

All session fees require a $100 deposit at the time of booking. Credit card, check and Venmo are accepted. The remainder is due the day of the session.

What if it rains?

Of course the weather can not be controlled so if it rains we reschedule. New England weather can change by the minute.We keep a close watch on the weather forecasts for all shoots, connecting with you to make a final decision. We can decide together if the weather will be right for your shoot.

 

What is a mini session?

A Mini Sessions is exactly what it sounds like: a shorter session at a specific location and time with limited availability and specific to the season.  For example, a typical photo session lasts an hour and a mini session is between 15-20 minutes. It allows you get a few great shots of your family or children. There are no outfit changes available and the location and times are designated by Dragonfly. You book your time directly on this website under book a session tab. Full sessions are customized to the client and you can change multiple times. A full session allows for more time, options for locations, and are tailored specifically to the client.

What should I wear?

Adults: Make sure you feel comfortable in what you wear. Confidence Is Your Best Accessory, so put on something that makes you feel confident. Also, patterns adds a fun element to the session and sometimes can be cool, depending on your location. We recommend bringing a few options to ensure you’re happy with the look.
Babies/Kids: Matching outfits are always cute on kids. For babies, think about props (tutus, toys, hats), also simple white onesie is adorable. What if I have pimple?

Don’t worry. I have solid experience and knowledge with editing and graphic design. Minor editing will be done on all photos. If you feel you need additional editing, that can be done for an additional fee. However, clients are happy with the editing process.

How long do I have to wait to see my photos?

It’s takes us about 2-3 weeks to produce the best possible photos. I will give you an estimate at the end of your session. This will be the hardest part... waiting!

Can I put my photos on social media?
